driving three weeks after passing his test
Cedric Krou, 22, was pulled over by police in Ancoats after being seen speeding and 'weaving about the road' at 4am, a court heard.
The French player was found to be one and a half times the legal limit when he was breathalysed by officers, prosecutor Dominic Geelan told Manchester magistrates court.
Krou said he had driven the car of a friend who had become too drunk to even stand.
"I was driving his car because he was too drunk."
Krou, of Firbeck Drive, Ancoats, pleaded guilty to charges of driving with excess alcohol and of having no insurance or a valid MOT certificate.
He was banned from driving the road for a year and fined 160 for the incident in the early hours of Tuesday, May 6.
He was also made to pay 85 costs and 20 surcharge.
Chairman of the Bench Carl Liddy told him: "It's Methenolone Enanthate Effects unfortunate that you are here.
"You might have thought you were doing a good deed, but you were lucky there wasn't an accident causing harm to yourself or others."
The court was told Krou had only passed his driving test three weeks prior to the incident. after the case: "I have never been in trouble with the police or the courts before.
"It was just a mistake. I was trying to help my friend out."
Krou told the court he played part time football. When asked who for, he replied FC United.
The Evo Stick League's website confirms he moved from FC United's Greater Manchester neighbours Trafford FC to Bury based Ramsbottom United in January this year.
At the time, Ramsbottom's co manager Bernard Morley said: "He will add Proviron Cena height and strength to the defence and is someone we have hoped to sign for quite some time."
Ramsbottom United declined to comment.
